New air defense systems should arrive in Ukraine by autumn. This was announced by the President of Ukraine in his evening address to the citizens.
“There are already agreements with partners regarding additional air defense systems for Ukraine, and some of these solutions will work more quickly, and some will work closer to the fall. I am grateful to every leader, every state, who really practically support us in this,” – noted Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
In addition, the head of state talked about new agreements on the supply of weapons from France and the United States. Also, after Zelensky’s trip to Paris, agreements on joint training of the military were signed.
“There is progress in artillery as well, including the production of 155-caliber projectiles in Ukraine, we are preparing a new production platform. There will also be more opportunities in our combat aviation and electronic warfare. I thank France and Emmanuel personally for his initiative and support of our proposals to train our soldiers and provide brigades. Together we are preparing a new system basis for training units of the Ukrainian army”, – said Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
