The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, appealed to the President of the United States, Donald Trump, with an invitation to visit Ukraine before adopting a “peace plan”. About this informs CBS.
“Come, see, and then let’s act according to the plan to end the war. You will understand who you are dealing with. You will understand what Putin has done.” – says the invitation.
Zelensky noted that he respects Trump’s position.
“But please, before you make any decisions, make any plans for negotiations, come and see the people, the civilians, the soldiers, the hospitals, the churches, the children that have been destroyed“, he emphasized.
At the same time, Zelensky noted the insufficient level of pressure on Russia and expressed gratitude to European leaders for supporting Ukraine after the missile attack on Sumy.
We will remind that on April 13, Russia launched an attack on the center of Sumy with two ballistic missiles. The number of dead has increased to 34, wounded to 117. Children are among the victims: two dead and 15 wounded.
