Zelenskyy makes personnel rotations in the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine

On October 2, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed decrees on changes in the leadership of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (FSI). According to the decrees, Oleg Luhovskyi, who previously held the position of deputy head of the SZR, was appointed first deputy head of the Oleg Ivashchenko Service. Also, Gennadiy Bogacha was appointed to the position of deputy chairman of the SZR, and Oleg Sinaiko was dismissed from this position.
It should be noted that the day before, on October 1, Zelenskyy held a meeting with the military leadership, at which a report was heard by the head of the GUR Kyryl Budanov and the Minister of Defense Rustem Umyerov. Prospects for further military operations, plans of the Russian army and necessary steps for countermeasures were discussed.
We will remind that in March 2024, Oleg Ivashchenko was appointed the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, replacing Oleksandr Lytvynenko, who became the secretary of the NSDC.
