President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi reported on discussing key issues related to financial stability and discipline at the NSDC meeting.
“There is a serious problem with the imbalance between imports and exports: imports – and this does not apply to weapons – significantly exceed our exports. This is a trend that needs to be changed.” – emphasized Zelensky.
He emphasized that it is necessary to create significantly more opportunities for Ukrainian production and support all forms of economic activity in the country.
“Just as we are already introducing foreign investments in the production of weapons, government officials must also work on other sectors. We have also instructed to work with partners so that there is more of our resource, our common European resource for the security of economic activity.”, – the president noted.
According to him, this concerns both demining of agricultural lands and strengthening of air defense.
