18 квітня Україна повернула тіла ще 909 загиблих військовослужбовців. Вони загинули, виконуючи бойові завдання на восьми напрямках фронту. Про це повідомляє пресслужба Координаційного штабу з питань поводження з військовополоненими. “За результатами проведених репатріаційних заходів в Україну повернули тіла 909 полеглих захисників”, — йдеться у повідомленні. Повернення тіл загиблих стало можливим завдяки спільній роботі представників Координаційного штабу, Об’єднаного центру при СБУ, Збройних Сил України, Міністерства внутрішніх справ, Офісу Уповноваженого Верховної Ради з прав людини, Секретаріату Уповноваженого з питань осіб зниклих безвісти за особливих обставин, ДСНС та інших структур сектору безпеки й оборони України. “Окрема подяка особовому складу Збройних Сил України, який здійснює перевезення репатрійованих полеглих Героїв до визначених державних спеціалізованих установ, організовує передачу загиблих представникам правоохоронних органів в системі МВС та судово-медичної експертизи в системі МОЗ. Слідчими правоохоронних органів спільно з експертними установами МВС у найкоротші терміни будуть встановлені особи загиблих”, — зазначили у координаційному штабі.

“According to the results of repatriation measures, the bodies of 909 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine”, – says the message.
The return of the bodies of the dead was made possible thanks to the joint work of representatives of the Coordination Headquarters, the Joint Center under the SBU, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Office of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, the Secretariat of the Commissioner for Missing Persons in Special Circumstances, the State Emergency Service and other structures of the security and defense sector of Ukraine.
“Special thanks to the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who carry out the transportation of repatriated fallen Heroes to designated state specialized institutions, organize the transfer of the deceased to representatives of law enforcement agencies in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and forensic medical examination in the system of the Ministry of Health. Investigators of law enforcement agencies, together with expert institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will establish the identities of the deceased as soon as possible,” the coordination headquarters said.
