25 Ukrainian citizens were evacuated from Lebanon: details from GUR

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine successfully evacuated 25 Ukrainian citizens from Lebanon, including 11 children and 14 women. As reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence, the evacuees have already arrived on the territory of Poland and are on their way to Ukraine. The operation took place with the support of the SkyUp airline, which contributed to the safe conduct of the mission.

“Thanks to the joint efforts of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, another group of 25 Ukrainians, including 11 children and 14 adults, and one citizen of the Czech Republic, were successfully evacuated from Lebanon. They arrived safely in Poland, are receiving all the necessary assistance and will be on their way to Ukraine“, – wrote the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Georgy Tykhi, in the social network Kh.

At the same time, the HUR and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs continue to work on providing assistance to other Ukrainians who remain in Lebanon.
