A rescuer from Kharkiv region came to his house after the shelling: his wife died (video)
The 10-year-old son of the rescuer was taken to the hospital, doctors assess his condition as moderate.
On July 31, a tragic event occurred in the village of Velikiy Burluk in the Kharkiv region. The rescuer of the State Emergency Service, having left for the call after the Russian shelling, arrived to put out the fire in his own house. His 37-year-old wife, Inna Zamyesova, was killed as a result of the attack by Russian anti-aircraft guns, and their 10-year-old son was hospitalized with burn injuries.
The fire started as a result of massive aerial bombardment, which destroyed several houses in the village. The rescuer who arrived at the scene found that his own house was at the epicenter of the destruction. The fire took the life of his wife, who worked as a dispatcher at the Kharkiv branch of “Gazmerezhi”. She was to be replaced on the next shift on the first day of August.
“Inna Zamyesova and her husband both worked in emergency response services and were guardian angels for many. Inna coordinated the emergency brigade’s trips to calls from community residents, and her husband was an employee of the State Emergency Service. Their work was aimed at saving lives and helping people in difficult situations “, – it is said in messages press service of the “Gazmerezhi” branch.
The 10-year-old son of the rescuer is in the hospital in a moderate condition. Serhii Bolvinov, the head of the investigative department of the police of the Kharkiv region, said that the boy suffered burn injuries and is under the supervision of doctors.
According to the data of the State Emergency Service, Velikiy Burluk suffered significant destruction during the shelling. Several residential buildings and infrastructure of the village were damaged. Local rescuers continue to work at the scene, trying to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and provide assistance to the victims.
