A separate medical unit will be created in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyy decided to create a separate medical unit in Ukraine. About this reported medical service of the International Legion of the Armed Forces.
As the representatives of the legion note, the new unit will contribute to the improvement of the organization of medical activities and increase the effectiveness of assistance in the combat zone.
“You know that our goal was to create a separate medical unit that would allow us to organizationally scale our experience and improve the provision of medical care in the combat zone. We discussed its creation at public events, congresses, conferences, in the offices of ministries, in communication with the higher command and other military personnel. We presented our vision and concept of a separate medical unit at a meeting with the commander-in-chief.”, the message says.
The creation of such a unit is an important step for improving medical care in the conditions of hostilities, which is especially relevant in the current situation.
“Ukrainian servicemen deserve the best medical care. For some, these are pathetic words. For our unit, this is a firm belief that we profess in the service every day. This is our principle. Guided by this principle, for two and a half years, our medical service trained and conducted evacuation , provided assistance at stabilization points in the Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions,” — emphasized in the medical service of the legion.
