Eight people injured in Russian night strike on Odessa region

Eight people were injured in a nighttime attack by Russian drones on the Odessa region on the evening of December 17. As reported by the press service of the Odessa Regional Prosecutor’s Office, four of the injured were women, and four were men. Two men, aged 43 and 29, were hospitalized, while the others received medical assistance on the spot.
The shelling damaged civilian infrastructure: windows were broken and the facades of a nine-story residential building and an educational institution were destroyed, and private houses were also damaged. In addition, ten parked cars were damaged.
“Prosecutors are working at the scene of the attack together with police officers and the Security Service of Ukraine. The attack is being investigated under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – war crimes”, – the press service of the prosecutor’s office noted.
The air raid warning in the Odessa region sounded 11 times on December 17 and lasted for more than nine hours. There were three warning signals in the evening: from 18:44 to 19:29, from 19:55 to 21:11 and 21:46 to 22:02.
