A terrorist attack occurred in the center of Lviv: a 23-year-old police officer was killed, there are seriously injured
On February 22 at 00:30, the “102” line received a call about a break-in at a store on Danylyshyna Street, 20 in Lviv. After the patrol crew arrived at the scene, an explosion occurred. When the second crew arrived, another explosion was heard.
A 23-year-old police officer died as a result of the incident, and 15 people were injured, some of them in serious condition. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office and Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.
The prosecutor’s office also reported that a patrol car and a civilian vehicle were damaged.
A pre-trial investigation was initiated by the Ukrainian State Security Service into the fact of a terrorist act that caused serious consequences (Part 2 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to updated data as of 10:00, 24 people were injured.
