On March 30, starting at 11:00, anonymous letters about alleged mining of buildings were massively received by e-mails of state authorities, local governments, educational institutions, enterprises, organizations, banks and other institutions. As of 14:50, police units had received 1216 such messages. This was reported by the press service of the National Police.
Explosives units, dog handlers and investigative and operational groups are working on the ground. Specialists are conducting inspections and checks, adhering to all the prescribed security algorithms.
At this point, 20% of the received reports have been processed. In none of the already checked cases have we received confirmation of the information about the mine.
The police are taking measures to identify people involved in the spread of false reports. It is also possible that this is another IPSO from the enemy.
“We remind you: criminal liability is provided for a knowingly false report about a threat to the security of citizens. We ask citizens to remain calm, use information only from official sources and comply with the requirements of law enforcement officers,” the law enforcement officers said.
