Almost 200 decisions of the MSEC on disability have been canceled in Ukraine: Ministry of Health
The law enforcement officers transferred to the Ministry of Health more than two thousand cases related to possible violations during the establishment of disability according to the conclusions of medical and social expert commissions (MSEK). To date, about 200 such decisions have already been canceled. About this reported Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko.
According to him, the department has processed almost a thousand cases so far. As a result, 188 people were freed from disability. Another 388 were called for re-examination at a specialized scientific research institute to clarify whether their health status corresponds to the documents issued by the MSEK.
“This process shows that sooner or later everything becomes clear and it is necessary to work in accordance with the regulations defined by the government and the Ministry of Health. Therefore, I urge doctors in expert groups to work exclusively in the legal field.”, – emphasized Lyashko.
We will remind you that the Verkhovna Rada adopted a draft law on the liquidation of MSEK from the beginning of next year. Documents confirming disability will remain valid until the end of 2024. As part of the investigation into abuses in the establishment of disability groups, two prosecutors and two officials of the MSEK have already been charged with fraud and forgery.
