People’s Deputy Anna Skorokhod paid bail in the amount of more than 3 million hryvnias and now has to fulfill a number of procedural obligations determined by the investigation.
The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court has ruled on a preventive measure for the parliamentarian. She was allowed to post bail in the amount of 3 million 28 thousand UAH, reports the press service of the NABU. dir=”ltr”>In addition, Skorokhod is assigned duties that include compliance with the requirements of the investigation. At the initial stage, the prosecutor’s office insisted on a much larger amount – 10.6 million UAH.
The name of the MP appeared in the so-called “Mindich tapes” published by the Anti-Corruption Center.
On social networks, the MP talked about the searches in her own apartment and emphasized that she was not hiding anything. At the same time, she stated that such actions could be regarded as pressure on the opposition and an attempt to limit its political activities due to a principled position.
Previously, NABU and SAPO, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, reported on the exposure of a criminal group led by Anna Skorokhod. It was established that she, together with her accomplices, could have demanded $250,000 from the entrepreneur. Further steps of the investigation and the results of the investigation will be made public after the completion of the investigative actions.
