BEB discovered a network of illegal casinos in the Kyiv region
The Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine has identified and stopped the operation of eighteen illegal gambling establishments in the Kyiv region, the press service of the agency reported.
According to the BEB, the illegal halls were located in non-residential premises in Fastiv, Bila Tserkva, Buchan, Vasylkiv and Obukhiv districts. The establishments operated in a closed mode, even during curfew. Visits to such establishments were agreed upon in advance with administrators, and access was granted only to regular customers.
During authorized searches, detectives seized more than 160 sets of computer equipment, video cameras, thermal printers, and draft recordings. The estimated value of the seized items is almost UAH 3 million.
Currently, the BEB continues to identify all persons involved in the organization and operation of the illegal gambling business.
