Big business of Ukraine transferred UAH 157.7 billion in taxes to the state budget since the beginning of the year

157.7 billion hryvnias of taxes were paid by large taxpayers to the general fund of the state budget of Ukraine during January-April 2024.

About this informs Central interregional administration of the DPS for work with large taxpayers.

Positive dynamics are observed in the area of ​​payment of basic taxes:

  • Income tax: increased 4.8 times (+52.6 billion UAH) to 66.5 billion UAH
  • Dividends accrued on shares (shares) of economic companies, in the authorized capital of which there is state property: + UAH 31.9 billion (UAH 32.0 billion).
  • Value added tax: +6.2% (+2.3 billion UAH) to 39.6 billion UAH.
  • Personal income tax: +31.1% (+2.3 billion UAH) to 9.7 billion UAH.
  • Excise tax on excise goods produced in Ukraine: +28.6% (+1.8 billion UAH) to 8.3 billion UAH.
  • In addition, in the first 4 months of 2024, the state budget received UAH 13.9 billion of a single contribution for mandatory state social insurance. This is 26.1% or UAH 2.9 billion more than in the same period of 2023.

“Paying taxes by big business is a significant contribution to the support of the Ukrainian economy in wartime conditions, – noted the head of the DPS of Ukraine, Serhiy Verlanov. – I thank the taxpayers for their responsibility and solidarity!”
