Bookmakers offer bets on whether Trump will stop the war in Ukraine within three months

Bookmakers have started accepting bets on whether Republican Donald Trump will be able to end the war in Ukraine within 90 days of becoming US president. Polymarket was the first to open bets on this, inviting users to predict whether Trump would fulfil his high-profile promise.
At the beginning of the day on 6 November, the probability of such a scenario was estimated at 56%, but by the evening, the number of people willing to support this possibility had decreased, and support dropped to 40%.
Trump himself has repeatedly claimed that he is able to quickly end the war between Russia and Ukraine, but he has not yet presented any specific steps or strategy. The Republican stressed that he has a ‘powerful plan’, but his statements remain without specific details, which arouses skepticism and interest among both experts and the public.
