Britain is preparing proposals for strikes deep into Russian territory as part of its victory plan: Syrsky

Great Britain is considering the possibility of giving Ukraine permission to strike military facilities deep in Russian territory as part of the victory plan. About this reported Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi in his Telegram channel.

Sirsky had a telephone conversation with the Chief of Defense Staff of Great Britain, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin. During the conversation, he informed his colleague about the current situation on the battlefield and discussed the possibility of launching strikes on Russian military facilities.

“The possibilities of hitting the enemy’s military facilities in operational and strategic depth were separately discussed. Now the British side is working out its own proposals as part of the practical implementation of the victory plan.”, — noted Sirskyi.

In addition, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces emphasized Russia’s violations of international humanitarian law, war crimes and attacks on critical infrastructure of Ukraine, as well as indiscriminate bombing of civilian objects.

The main priorities of cooperation between Ukraine and Great Britain remain the supply of military equipment, the training of the Ukrainian military, as well as increasing the efficiency of the use of high-tech weapons.

However, today Ukraine’s allies, in particular the United Kingdom and the United States, have set restrictions on the use of long-range weapons for strikes against objects deep in the territory of Russia. Ukraine calls for the removal of these restrictions, arguing that it is necessary to destroy military facilities for self-defense. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, also insists on an urgent decision, as Russia is moving its facilities further into the country.
