Electricity supply was partially restored in Slavutych after the Russian attack

In Slavutych, which was left without electricity after the shelling of the Russian Federation on October 1, 2025, the operation of critical infrastructure facilities, including a water supply, a hospital and two schools, has been restored. There is no shortage of products in the city, although queues for gas cylinders form at gas stations. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.

“Currently, electricity supply to Slavutych has been partially restored. Critical infrastructure facilities (water supply, hospital, two schools) have been revived. The main sewage pumping station is connected to general power supply networks, says the message.

There are 10 stationary points of invincibility and 5 mobile points of the State Emergency Service operating in the city. 3,035 people who need warmth, communication and support have already turned to them for help. To maintain order and provide assistance to residents, additional police units from Chernihiv and Kyiv regions were sent to Slavutych.

Mayor of Slavutych Yury Fomichev noted that in recent days information about empty shelves in stores and lack of fuel at gas stations, but this is not true.

“I went to the shops and made sure that there are groceries, water, bread, there is fuel at gas stations, there are queues at gas stations for gas, gas cylinders to fill up. Today is not the year 2022, logistics are ensured and we are not under occupation, and I have not seen people cooking on fires in the yards, the mayor noted.
