France will provide Ukraine with a grant in the amount of 200 million euros: Shmyhal disclosed the details
Earlier, Kyiv and Paris signed an agreement on the restoration and support of critical infrastructure and the main sectors of the economy.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine submitted to the Verkhovna Rada an agreement with France, which will ensure the receipt of 200 million euros in grant funds. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal emphasized the importance of this financing for the restoration of the country’s infrastructure and economy.
“We are submitting to the parliament an agreement with France that will allow Ukraine to receive EUR 200 million in grant funds to restore our infrastructure and economy”, – said Smigal.
In addition, the government adopted a decision that will contribute to the redistribution of resources and will allow to receive an additional 50 million euros from the European Union. These funds will be directed to the implementation of the country’s reconstruction programs.
Earlier, on July 23, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to attract a grant in the amount of 3.9 billion US dollars from the United States of America. These funds, which will come through the structures of the World Bank, will be used to pay the salaries of rescuers, teachers, doctors, as well as to support social programs.
These measures are part of the government’s broader strategy to attract international aid and investment to support the country’s economic stability and development. The government continues to work on attracting additional financial resources to meet the needs of citizens and restore the economy.
