Gmail launches a separate Purchases tab for tracking purchases

Gmail launches a new Purchases tab that consolidates all emails related to purchases and deliveries in one place.

Users will be able to easily view information about their past and future orders without having to search for them in the mailbox or go to the carriers’ websites. Notifications about parcels due to arrive within the next 24 hours will still be displayed at the top of the interface.

The feature complements the delivery tracking capabilities that appeared back in 2022 and, according to Google, “will be especially useful during the holiday season.”. The update has already started rolling out to Gmail web and mobile apps for personal Google Account users worldwide.

At the same time, Google is improving the Promotions category. Now users will be able to sort advertising letters according to the principle of “most relevant” and receive notifications about upcoming discounts and special offers from your favorite brands. This update will be available on mobile devices in the coming weeks.
