Google allocated $1.5 million for the Ukrainian educational platform “Mriya”

The Google company allocated 1.5 million dollars for the development of the Ukrainian state educational ecosystem “Mriya”. This is reported on the company’s official blog.

The project was created at the initiative of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and is implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Education and Science in partnership with the EGAP Program and the Eastern Europe Foundation with the support of the Swiss government.

The received funding will allow the platform “Mriya” for use in schools and kindergartens, and implement tools based on artificial intelligence. It is about personalizing the educational process and reducing the routine burden on teachers. The goal is to attract more than 500,000 users. Today, the platform already helps teachers save time on typical tasks, and students and parents – more easily interact during learning. The new funding is aimed at expanding access to “Mria” and integration of additional AI tools.

“Support from Google is an important signal that Ukraine creates innovative products that change people’s lives and open up new opportunities for our children. In September, more than 2,000 schools have already started training with Mriya. In 2026, we will start piloting preschools and developing a concept for higher education institutions. Thanks to Google’s support, we will be able to develop the product even faster, add new opportunities and tools based on artificial intelligence.

It is important that Google systematically supports the development of Ukrainian education — from the relaunch of the Diya.Osvit platform with financial and volunteer support from Google.org Fellows to the introduction of new technologies that help millions of Ukrainians acquire knowledge and new skills. We are grateful to the company for the partnership and trust,” emphasized the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov.

Platform “Dream” has been working in test mode since September 2024. In April 2025, Volodymyr Zelensky announced the launch of a web portal and a mobile application for schools. “Dream” also has functions that allow schoolchildren to determine their own strengths with the help of artificial intelligence.
