Great Britain and its allies have already trained more than 40,000 Ukrainian soldiers as part of the “Interflex” program
Great Britain, together with 12 partner countries, successfully trained more than 40,000 servicemen of the Defense Forces of Ukraine as part of the multinational training operation “Interflex”, which has been ongoing for two years. As part of this operation, instructors from the Ground Forces of New Zealand are conducting basic joint military training classes for Ukrainian servicemen and women in Great Britain. The training includes modules on overcoming obstacles, defense, moving around the battlefield, tactical medicine and other critical skills for combat, which helps to increase the psychological stability and combat skills of Ukrainian soldiers.
The first group of Ukrainian military personnel arrived in Great Britain as part of the “Interflex” operation on June 27, 2022. Since then, the operation has focused on new recruits of the Armed Forces who have limited or no military experience. The main goal is the formation of basic skills and abilities necessary for survival in combat conditions and ensuring high combat effectiveness.
