The candidate for the post of prosecutor of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office declared a car and an apartment worth more than 700,000 hryvnias, while not indicating any sources of income. About this testify data from the Unified State Register of Declarations.
According to published information, an applicant for a position in the Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office declared a new apartment and a car, without specifying any financial income for the relevant period.
So, Eduard Sergeev reported in the declaration that on August 5, 2024, he became the owner of an apartment in Kharkiv with an area of 43.9 m². The estimated cost of housing is 412,000 hryvnias (about $9,900). In addition, on May 3, 2024, he declared ownership of a 2008 Honda Accord passenger car, worth 293,000 hryvnias (approximately $7,000).
At the same time, no information is indicated in the sections of the declaration relating to income, savings, bank accounts, gifts or loans.
We will remind, on May 12, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office recorded a number of violations in the field of maintenance of protective structures, which are on the balance sheet of enterprises located in the Novobavarsky and Kholodnohirsky districts of Kharkiv.
During the inspections carried out by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region, it was established that the shelters on Sirikivskyi Lane and Kontorskaya Street, designed for 200 and 300 people, respectively, are not ready for their intended use and need repair.
Controlling bodies issued appropriate orders to eliminate the detected violations, but the enterprises did not take measures to bring the shelters into proper condition and did not provide safe conditions for people to stay in emergency situations.
