In Kharkiv, the Russian army shelled a private kindergarten, there are injuries

On October 22, Russian troops struck a private kindergarten in the Kholodnohirsky district in Kharkiv, causing injuries to children. This was reported by the city’s mayor, Igor Terekhov.
Three explosions were heard in the city, the first of which occurred at 10:52. Before that, the Air Force warned of the approach of strike drones in the direction of Kharkiv.
“A private kindergarten in the Kholodnohirsky district was hit, there are injured children. There is a fire at the site of the strike. As of now, all children have been evacuated from the kindergarten. The fire is ongoing,” — Igor Terekhov noted.
It should be noted that he initially reported that children were among the injured. However, the mayor of Kharkiv later clarified that this information was not confirmed. In total, seven people were injured, but none of them is a student of the institution. Among the injured are utility workers who worked nearby.
According to the words of the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, at least four people were injured as a result of the enemy attack. Two of them are in serious condition. Medics are working at the scene.
During the day, the enemy struck three settlements in the Kharkiv region. The Russian army actively used various types of weapons, in particular one drone of the “Geran-2” type and two FPV drones. As a result of the attacks, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed: in the city of Lozova, damage was recorded to the railway infrastructure and a car, and in the village of Katerynivka, Kupyansky district, another car. The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 163 people in a day.
