In the Pokrovsky direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped 32 attacks of the Russian army: General Staff
The defense forces are focusing their actions on disrupting the offensive plans of the Russian invaders and exhausting their combat potential. In the Pokrovsky area, Ukrainian units stopped 32 attacks by the Russian army, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the day, 141 combat clashes have been recorded. The enemy carried out 56 airstrikes, using 90 guided air bombs, carried out 1,729 attacks by kamikaze drones and 3,257 artillery attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops.
There were two enemy attacks in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions. Russian forces carried out seven airstrikes, using 15 aerial bombs, and also carried out 70 attacks, including two from salvo fire systems. In the South-Slobozhansk direction, 14 battles were recorded in the districts of Vovchansk, Ambarny and near Odradny. One collision is still ongoing.
On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops seven times. The fighting took place in the districts of Kupyansk, Petropavlivka, Novaya Kruglyakivka and in the direction of Kurylivka. In the Lyman direction, the occupiers tried 24 times to storm Ukrainian positions near Grekivka, Torsky, Yampol, Shandrygolovo and Drobyshevo. Four battles have not yet been completed.
On the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled six attacks in the districts of Hryhorivka, Serebryanka, Dronivka, and Vyimka. In the Kramatorsk direction, the defenders stopped one enemy attack near Stupochy. In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers carried out 13 assaults in the areas of Aleksandro-Shultyny, Katerynivka, Rusyn Yaru, Mayak and Poltavka. All of them were repelled by the Defense Forces.
In the Pokrovsky direction, 32 enemy attempts to advance were recorded. Battles took place in the districts of Prominy, Nikanorivka, Mayak, Novoeconomy, Rodinsky, Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Zvirovo, Kotlyny, Udachny, Muravka, Dachny, Filia and in the direction of Pokrovsk. One clash is still ongoing. According to preliminary data, Ukrainian soldiers in this direction eliminated 79 and wounded 42 occupiers, destroyed six units of motor vehicles and 17 enemy drones.
On the Novopavlivskyi direction, the enemy tried 24 times to break through the defense near Piddubny, Yalta, Sosnivka, Ivanivka, Filia, Zeleny Gay, Tolstoy, Maliivka, Komyshuvakha, Olhivskyi, Poltavka, and in the direction of Novoivanivka. Two battles are ongoing.
The enemy did not carry out offensive actions in the Gulyaipil and Orihiv directions, but they did carry out airstrikes on Biloghiri and Zaliznychny. In the Dnieper direction, there were two ineffective enemy attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops, as well as an air strike on Odradokamyanka.
