Lukashenko is changing the team: new key appointments in the Belarusian government

Today, June 27, Oleksandr Lukashenko made significant changes in the leadership of the country, appointing new leaders to key positions in the government. Dmytro Krutiy, who previously served as the ambassador of Belarus to Russia, became the new head of the presidential administration. This position remained vacant for three months after Ihor Sergiyenko took over the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives.

This is reported by the Belarusian mass media.

Maksym Ryzhenkov, Sergienko’s first deputy, now heads the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, succeeding Serhiy Aleynyk, who became head of the international affairs commission in the Council of the Republic.

The head of the Ministry of Agriculture is now Anatoliy Linevych, previously known as the first deputy chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, and Yury Shuleyko, who previously headed the Brest Regional Executive Committee, became the vice-premier in charge of the agro-industrial complex.

Oleksandr Yukhimov was appointed Minister of Industry, replacing Oleksandr Rogozhnyk, who is now leaving for the post of ambassador to Russia.

Nataliya Petkevych, known for her long-term service in positions in the Lukashenka administration, returns to active politics as the first deputy head of the administration.
