Day of struggle for the rights of the Crimean Tatar people and Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Genocide of the Crimean Tatar People – the deportation of Crimean Tatars began on May 18, 1944. In total, more than 100,000 Crimean Tatars were deported from Crimea to special settlements by order of the State Defense Committee of the USSR.
Day of the reservist of Ukraine – has been celebrated since 2019 with the aim of highlighting the important role of reservists in the defense of the Motherland, its independence and territorial integrity, their readiness at any time to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, with the aim of further development of modern military traditions, strengthening the patriotic spirit in society.
