More than 80,000 Ukrainians were employed in the first quarter of 2024

In the first three months of 2024, thanks to the efforts of the employment service, 81,000 Ukrainians found work. 3 thousand of them are IDPs.

“With the assistance of the employment service, employment was provided for 81,000 Ukrainians. In particular, 3,000 internally displaced persons were employed with compensation to employers for their labor costs. For the employment of 206 people with disabilities, employers were given compensation for arranging their workplaces. 12,000 unemployed people underwent vocational training, in particular, 7,000 trainees attended vocational and technical education centers of the State Employment Service“, the message says.
Experts note that 6,000 Ukrainians have already taken advantage of the opportunity to receive a training voucher in order to increase their competitiveness on the labor market. Currently, 124 professions and specialties are available for free training. The most in demand are: nursing, psychology, preschool education, cook, emergency medical technician, confectioner, driver, tractor driver, tailor.
