NABU and SAPO completed the investigation into the former head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEK, Tetyana Krupa

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office announced the completion of the pre-trial investigation into the case of illegal enrichment of the former head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEK, former deputy of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council Tetyana Krupa, as well as her husband and son.

The investigation established that the head of the KZOZ “Khmelnytskyi Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise” illegally enriched herself in the amount of about 160 million hryvnias during 2020–2024, involving her husband and son in the scheme. She legalized part of the funds through fictitious transactions for the sale of real estate, after which – with the help of her husband – she took them abroad and placed them in accounts in foreign banks.

“Currently, the defense is familiarizing itself with the investigation materials, after which the case will be sent to court”, – the NABU noted.

Let us recall that Tetyana Krupa was detained on October 4, 2024, and the next day, after searches of her apartment and workplace, she was suspected of illegal enrichment.

According to the investigation, the head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEK organized a scheme to forge documents for men who sought to avoid mobilization. During searches in her office, 100 thousand US dollars, medical documents with signs of forgery, as well as lists of conscripts with names and fictitious diagnoses were found. In the official’s apartment, law enforcement officers seized 5 million 244 thousand US dollars, 300 thousand euros, more than 5 million hryvnias, expensive jewelry of famous brands and documents confirming financial transactions with assets.
