NABU conducted searches at the home of Lutsk Mayor Ihor Polishchuk
On December 19, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine conducted investigative actions against Lutsk Mayor Ihor Polishchuk. The mayor published information about this in comments to the media.
According to him, the searches were carried out correctly and without violations of procedural norms. During the investigative actions, no documents or personal belongings were seized from him, and no procedural status was granted. Ihor Polishchuk noted that the NABU representatives acted professionally, and he has no complaints about their work.
Later, speaking to journalists, the mayor clarified that the searches were carried out in the morning both at his place of residence and in the Lutsk City Council building. He emphasized that he is neither a suspect nor a witness in the relevant criminal proceedings.
Ihor Polishchuk stated that he had no connection to the case in which the investigative actions were carried out, and expressed his willingness to cooperate with the investigation to fully clarify all the circumstances. He did not comment on the reasons for the searches.
