Next round of peace talks between Ukraine and Russia to be held in Switzerland: Zelensky
The next round of peace talks between Ukraine and Russia will take place in Switzerland. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with journalist Piers Morgan.
The head of state clarified that he currently has this information regarding the location of the negotiations.
“You mentioned the next meeting. I want to emphasize that the next meeting will also be in Switzerland. This is the information that I have as of today. Of course, our group will return and I will have more detailed information than I have on my phone right now,” Zelensky noted.
The President also emphasized his principled position regarding the location of the negotiation process.
“I think the good thing is that the meeting took place in Switzerland. This is very important. I always say this with respect to the Middle East and other countries, but I believe that if there is a war in Europe, then the place should be sought here”, – the president emphasized.
In addition, on February 18, White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt also stated that peace talks with the participation of delegations from Ukraine, Russia and the United States will continue and a new round will take place.
