Operation in Kurshchyna: the President’s Office commented on the possibility of expanding mobilization

Despite the operation of the Ukrainian military in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, there is currently no need to increase mobilization measures in Ukraine. This was announced by the adviser to the head of the President’s Office, Mykhailo Podolyak, in an interview with Novina.LIVE.

Podolyak, referring to the statements of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, emphasized that the current mobilization campaign ensures “cautious rotations” at the front, which allows the situation to be kept under control.

He also noted that there is no need to expand mobilization due to the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region.

“Does this require any additional expansion? I am not very sure that it is necessary. The operation in Kurshchyna is clearly planned, taking into account the necessary number of troops for its implementation,” explained Podolyak.

He also added that the operation in the Kursk region is carried out by forces that are specially deployed to work in the Sumy and Kharkiv directions, without the transfer of troops from other zones, such as the Donetsk direction.

We will remind that the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky reported about Ukraine’s control over 1,294 square meters. kilometers of the territory of the Kursk region. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the liberation of Kurshchyna is part of Ukraine’s victory strategy.
