People’s Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko appeared for the first time at a court hearing in Dnipro

February 5 in Dnipro continued trial in the case of People’s Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko and ex-Kraken member Dmytro Mazokha. Tyshchenko personally appeared at the meeting for the first time.

On February 5, the court began considering the indictment. Another defendant was also present at the meeting – former policeman Bohdan Pisarenko. At a preliminary hearing on January 27, the court changed Tyshchenko’s preventive measure, ordering two months of round-the-clock house arrest.

The victim, Dmytro Mazokha, demands from Tyshchenko and Pisarenko 35 million hryvnias in moral compensation, which he plans to use to support the Defense Forces. The lawsuit also mentions the bodyguard of People’s Deputy Kostyantyn Zubera.

“This amount is justified by the fact that every minute, views in the media cost some money. There were a lot of these views. To whiten my reputation, because I am seen as a victim who was beaten and humiliated in front of my child in the city center. And in order to correct this, I want to collect material damages from him, and send these funds to the unit that I specified in the lawsuit.” Dmytro Mazokha noted.

The judge did not accept the victim’s claim for moral damage and gave five days to eliminate the deficiencies in it. After that, a break was announced. The meeting will continue on February 14 at 11:30.

“In connection with the fact that I can be accused of interfering with the work of the court, I decided for myself to refrain from any comments. And I ask you (the media) to spread true information.”, Tyschenko emphasized after the meeting.
