The patrol police stated that false information is spreading on the Internet about the alleged introduction of a new road sign in Ukraine. This was reported by Deputy Chief of the Patrol Police Department Oleksiy Biloshitskiy.
According to him, netizens are spreading a fake about the appearance of the sign “White rhombus on a blue background”. The posts claim that it will supposedly mark the lane for certain categories of transport – in particular, buses and other public transport, taxis, cars with two or more passengers, and electric vehicles.
Biloshytskyi stressed that the current version of the Road Traffic Rules of Ukraine does not provide for the installation of such a sign and does not contain any regulations regarding its use. In addition, the police assured that there are currently no plans to introduce this sign.
