Russia again attacked the energy system of Ukraine: there are hits and fires in five regions

On the night of June 1, Russian troops carried out another large-scale air attack on Ukraine, targeting energy infrastructure facilities in five regions: Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kirovohrad and Ivano-Frankivsk.

About this reported Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko, noting that energy workers are already working on eliminating the consequences of shelling.

It is noted that a fire broke out at a critical infrastructure facility in Vinnytsia region as a result of falling fragments of a downed drone. Previously, there were no casualties. In Zaporizhzhia, a hit to one of the energy facilities was recorded, which led to destruction. More than 20 residential buildings and social institutions were also damaged.

In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, as a result of the attack, several fires broke out at energy infrastructure facilities. There are no dead or injured.

Andriy Raykovych, the leader of the Kirovohrad regional military administration, confirmed that the target of the Russian attack was once again the objects of the region’s energy infrastructure.

This morning there was an enemy missile attack on Kirovohrad Oblast. The object of the energy infrastructure is affected. According to previous reports, there were no casualties. All relevant services are already working”, he noted on the morning of June 1.

Currently, information about the consequences of the attack is being clarified.
