Russia attacks Odesa with missiles: local authorities report on the consequences

On the night of October 19, Odesa again came under attack from the Russian army, which launched a rocket attack on the city. Fortunately, no one was injured in the attack, but the city was badly damaged.
As reported Oleg Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Russian missiles hit the private sector of the city, where a large number of residential buildings are located. The attack caused a three-story building to catch fire, as well as two cars parked nearby. Thanks to the prompt actions of Odessa rescuers, the fire was quickly extinguished, preventing further spread of the fire to neighboring buildings.
However, the consequences of the rocket attack are tangible: more than ten private houses were damaged, which caused material losses for their residents. Local residents continue to rebuild their homes after another enemy attack.
In recent months, the Russian army has been constantly attacking Ukraine with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Most often, these strikes are carried out at night, when residents are in their homes, which increases the level of threat to the civilian population.
