Russian military personnel attacked an emergency medical team that was on its way to attend to the wounded in Kherson. As reported by the Kherson Military Police, the ambulance driver was injured when an explosive device was dropped from an enemy drone.
The city military administration noted that the strike was carried out in the Dnipro district of the city:
“At around 10:00 p.m., Russian occupiers attacked an emergency medical team from a drone that had arrived on a call to attend to the wounded in the Dnipro district. As a result of the enemy dropping explosives from a drone, an ambulance was damaged and the driver was injured.
According to the Kherson MVA, as a result of the attack, a 70-year-old man received a mine-explosive injury, a closed head injury and a concussion. The victim was hospitalized, and doctors assess his condition as moderate. The ambulance was damaged, which complicated the work of the brigade while performing its duty in the front-line city.
