Russians use fake “Rezerv+” to collect personal data of Ukrainians

In order to avoid the Russian fake "Rezerv+", Ukrainians should be careful and use only the official website.

Russians have developed a new way to trick Ukrainians with their personal information by creating a fake copy of the “Reserve+” application, which is used by conscripts to update their data. About this reported Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization.

“The enemy is distributing web applications that should look like Reserve+ and plans to distribute them among Ukrainians to collect personal data. We are already aware of this and are working to ensure your protection”, — emphasized Chernogorenko.

She urged Ukrainians to be careful and use only the official website: reserveplus.mod.gov.ua to avoid Russian counterfeiting.

“Do not follow links imitating the name reserveplus.mod.gov.ua and ending in .top, .website, .org, etc.”, — warned Chernogorenko.

She also advised to check that the developer of the application on the smartphone is the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine itself.

We will remind, earlier the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense Dmytro Lazutkin said that now the defense department does not plan to send summonses through the mobile application “Rezerv+”. This is not provided for by the legal framework.
