SSR destroyed “Iskander” OTRK and air defense elements in Kursk region

Ukrainian special operations forces struck a transport-loading vehicle for the Russian operational-tactical missile complex “Iskander” and destroyed an enemy radar station. This was reported in the SSO.

“As a result of joint actions of one of the units of the Special Operations Forces and the insurgent movement “Chernaya Iskra”, a transport-loading vehicle for the “Iskander” OTRK was hit. The hit occurred near the village of Ovsyannikove, Kursk Region of the Russian Federation. This vehicle was used to transport, load and prepare missiles for launch, which were launched over the territory of Ukraine, the report says.

Also, the SSO, together with representatives of the rebel movement, destroyed the 1L122 “Harmony” radar station, which was on duty near the village of Nyzhny Reutets in the Kursk region.

“The small-sized radar station was intended for detection and tracking of air targets and subsequent target designation,” the SSO added.

Let us recall that on the night of October 28, the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine eliminated the latest anti-aircraft missile system “Buk-M3” and hit the Russian radar “Nebo-U”. “Buk-M3” is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 80 km, and “Nebo-U” can detect fighters at a distance of up to 400 km. The cost of each of these complexes is several hundred million dollars.
