Syrskyi held a meeting with the Inspector General of the Bundeswehr
On the eve of the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Inspector General of the German Armed Forces Carsten Breuer arrived in Kyiv, who met with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi.
During the conversation, Syrskyi informed his German colleague about the situation at the front and thanked Germany for its stable support of Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. The parties discussed providing the Ukrainian army with weapons, ammunition, military and special equipment, as well as military training.
“Also, during the meeting, the issue of maintenance and repair of German-made military equipment, which is in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was discussed.” – noted Sirsky.
We will remind that Breuer’s previous visit to Ukraine, which was also not announced for security reasons, took place in February 2024.
