Syrskyi simplifies the procedure for transferring servicemen between units

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrsky, approved a new, simplified procedure for the transfer of servicemen between military units, which greatly facilitates the process for soldiers who wish to change their place of service. About this reported “Military” portal with reference to sources in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the new algorithm, a serviceman who wants to transfer to another position in another part can send a copy of the report through messengers such as WhatsApp or Signal to a specially created working group of the General Staff. The report must indicate his current position and the position to which he seeks to transfer, as well as written consent (called “attitude”) from the commander of the military unit to which the serviceman wishes to transfer.

The working group promptly considers the expediency of the transfer and forms a corresponding plan within a day, which is then submitted to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces for approval. After a positive decision and issuance of a transfer order, the Personnel Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sends an electronic notification to both military units: both to the one in which the soldier is currently serving, and to the new one where he will be transferred.

If the transfer is not approved due to a lack of necessary education or combat experience, the senior task force notifies the applicant of the rejection within two days. The commander of the current unit, after receiving the notification, must organize the transfer as soon as possible, in accordance with the current legislation.
