The Air Force of Ukraine will soon begin testing its own guided aerial bombs (video)

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will start testing Ukrainian-made guided air bombs in a few weeks.
About this reported Serhii Golubtsov, Chief of Aviation of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“We are also currently working on the conversion and creation of our modified aerial bombs, based on ordinary free-falling ones. There are some constructive nuances, you need to choose a wing, a GPS module, as well as a control module. In a few weeks, we have to start the first tests of the first batches of such bombs, already Ukrainian”Golubtsov said.
Currently, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces uses guided aerial bombs of Western production, in particular the GBU-39 and GBU-62.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, called KAB the main instrument of Russian terror and advancement at the front. According to Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, since the beginning of the year, the Russians have dropped almost 10,000 guided aerial bombs on the territory of Ukraine. Russia has been actively using air defense systems since the first quarter of 2023, especially since the end of last year. These strikes helped the occupiers capture Avdiivka and continue to be used in the east and north of the Kharkiv region.
