The Air Force reported the number of missiles and drones that the Russian Federation launched over Ukraine on the night of May 24

On the night of May 24, the Russian army launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine, using 90 missiles and 600 drones of various types. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In total, radio-technical troops recorded 690 air attack vehicles. Among them were 90 missiles and 600 drones.

In particular, Russian forces launched one medium-range ballistic missile from the Kapustin Yar region in the Russian Federation, two Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, three 3M22 Zircon missiles, 30 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, 54 cruise missiles of various types, as well as 600 strike UAVs, including Shahed and drones of other types.

The main direction of the Russian attack was Kyiv. It also became known that during the strike on the Kyiv region in the area of ​​Bila Tserkva, Russian troops used a medium-range ballistic missile RS-26 “Rubizh”, known as “Oreshnik”.

Air defense systems shot down or suppressed 604 air targets – 55 missiles and 549 drones. It is also reported that 19 missiles probably did not reach their targets. This information is still being clarified.

At the same time, 16 missiles and 51 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 54 locations. Falling debris from downed targets was recorded at 23 more locations.
