The Armed Forces of Ukraine cleared the village of Yehorivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Russian units

The Ukrainian Defense Forces cleared the village of Yegorivka in the Synelnyky district of the Dnipropetrovsk region from Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups that had infiltrated the territory of the settlement. As of the morning of October 27, there were no Russian military personnel in the village. The special operation to liberate it lasted more than nine hours. This was reported by Hryhoriy Shapoval, spokesman for the “East” Group of Forces.

The operation was successfully carried out by servicemen of the 425th separate assault regiment “Skelya” together with adjacent units.

According to Hryhoriy Shapoval, Ukrainian forces surrounded a significant number of Russian soldiers and eliminated them:

“There are not even a single prisoner or wounded. The village is completely cleared of the enemy and is under our control. There were attempts by the enemy to break through to the encirclement and create a corridor to take them out and evacuate them. But all attempts were inexpedient, and the enemy was completely destroyed”.

Shapoval noted that the capture of Yegorivka was not of great importance for the Russian troops from a logistical point of view. In his opinion, such tactics are aimed at creating psychological pressure on the Ukrainian population.

“Any settlement in the Dnipropetrovsk region, if they surround it and take up positions there, it is psychologically very difficult for the civilian population of the Dnipropetrovsk region itself to perceive it. And if it is logistical routes, or if they have taken some height, then it would not give them anything”, – added the spokesman for the group of troops “East”.
