The British defense alliance ADS Group has opened the possibility of entry for Ukrainian military defense companies

The British industry association ADS Group, which unites companies of the aerospace, defense, security and space industries, has officially opened the possibility of membership for Ukrainian defense enterprises for the first time. The announcement was made during a briefing organized by Taskforce KINDRED on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the partnership between Great Britain and Ukraine, reports Caliber Defence.

In the first 48 hours after the start of the program, about ten Ukrainian companies applied for admission. ADS Group CEO Kevin Craven emphasized that this decision is aimed at strengthening industrial ties in the face of Russian aggression. He emphasized that industrial cooperation is key to national stability, and expressed his intention to develop partnerships with Ukrainian manufacturers that provide the needs of the army.

Great Britain’s Minister of Readiness and Defense Industry, Luke Pollard, welcomed the initiative, noting the innovativeness of the Ukrainian defense sector and the need for closer cooperation between the two states.

The membership program gives Ukrainian companies access to a specialized business network, participation in ADS trade missions to Ukraine, online events and cooperation with all members of the association. To enter, you need to work in the defense sector, have a headquarters in Ukraine and receive a letter of recommendation from an approved partner.

Some Ukrainian enterprises are already taking steps towards integration into the British market. For example, the Ukrspecsystems company announced an investment in Great Britain in the amount of 200 million pounds, and Skyeton cooperates with Prevail Partners in the field of unmanned technologies.
