The Cabinet of Ministers approved the Veterans Policy Strategy until 2030

The Government of Ukraine adopted the Strategy of Veteran Policy until 2030, and also approved the operational plan for its implementation. About this reported Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a working meeting.

“Today, the government approves the Strategy of Veteran Policy for the period until 2030 and approves the operational plan for its implementation”, – said the official.

According to him, this document is key, because it covers all aspects of interaction between the state and veterans. According to the Strategy, attention is paid to the return of soldiers to civilian life, their participation in the life of communities, regions and the country, as well as strengthening their influence on society.

The document defines three main goals: ensuring the welfare of veterans and their families, restoring human capital, building respect for veterans, and commemorating the fallen. In addition, the Strategy envisages the integration of veterans’ experience into the national security system, their participation in the formation of national identity and preparation for national resistance.

In addition, changes to the program of free dentures for veterans, defenders of Ukraine were approved. According to the Prime Minister, under this program, every veteran can receive free dental treatment in the amount of up to 25 thousand hryvnias. More than 11,000 people have already used this opportunity.
