The Cabinet of Ministers increased the salaries of judges and their assistants

The Cabinet of Ministers decided to increase the salaries of civil servants working in courts, as well as assistant judges. This was reported by the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

According to the decision, by the end of the year, an additional salary increase factor will be introduced for civil servants of the court apparatus:

  • for employees of local general courts who have passed the classification of civil service positions, the coefficient will be 1.19;
  • for the apparatus of appeal courts, district administrative and economic courts, territorial offices of the State Judicial Administration and subdivisions of the Court Security Service — 1.3;
  • for the State Judicial Administration and the central management body of the Judicial Security Service — 1.2.

Payments at increased rates will be made at the expense of funds received from court fees and the application of pledges to state revenue.

The second decision of the Cabinet concerns employees of patronage services (assistant judges). For the period of martial law, additional coefficients of increase have been established for them:

  • for the Supreme Court, higher specialized courts, the High Council of Justice and the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine — 1.45;
  • for appellate, district administrative and economic courts — 1.3;
  • for local general courts — 1.25.

It is also determined that during martial law, assistant judges can receive bonuses in the amount of up to 30% of the official salary, taking into account the additional rate of increase.
