The chief of staff of the KMDA, suspected of forging documents, was removed from his post

The head of the Kyiv City State Administration, who is suspected of using fake invitations to organize private trips abroad under the guise of business trips, has been removed from his post. This is notified by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office. According to data RBC-Ukraine, we are talking about Dmytro Zagumenny.

At the request of the investigators and prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, the Holosiivskyi District Court of Kyiv imposed a preventive measure on him in the form of 24-hour house arrest and made a decision to suspend him from official duties. The validity period of these restrictions is set until November 28, 2025.

The investigation believes that the official used forged documents to organize foreign trips, in particular to Barcelona in 2023 and to Florence in 2024. His actions are qualified under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – Part 3 of Art. 358 (forgery of an official document, committed by a group of persons under a prior conspiracy or repeatedly), Part 4 of Art. 358 (use of a knowingly forged document) and part 1 of Art. 366 (entering false information into official documents by an official).

The pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the city of Kyiv under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office and under the operational support of the State Security Service of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
