A court in Kyiv sentenced a 40-year-old man to 12 years in prison, who for several months molested underage girls.

The man worked as a volleyball coach in one of Kyiv’s sports schools. He got to know the girls during training, and then invited them to his home or for walks. There he treated them with sweets, alcohol and drugs, and then corrupted them.
The criminal was exposed after one of his victims told her mother about everything. The woman turned to the police, and the police detained the coach.
During the search of the man’s home, they found photo and video materials of him corrupting girls.
The court found the man guilty of corrupting minors and sentenced him to 12 years in prison. He is also obliged to pay 100,000 hryvnias in moral damages to each of the victims.
