The DOT of the Ministry of Defense received an ISO certificate, which confirms the effective fight against corruption

Auditors of the Canadian company MSECB confirmed that the “State rear operator” The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has introduced an effective anti-corruption management system that meets international standards. According to the results of the inspection, the organization received the ISO 37001:2016 certificate — the first document of this level in the security and defense sector of Ukraine. “From now on, DOT is officially included in the global register of ISO certified organizations, which reflects the statistics of the implementation of standards in different countries of the world. Currently, only 8 organizations have ISO 37001:2016 certification in Ukraine, says the message.

The auditors evaluated the effectiveness and efficiency of the anti-corruption system, in particular the procedures for checking business partners, managing conflicts of interest, checking the integrity of employees and candidates, as well as mechanisms for assessing and reducing corruption risks. In addition, the policy of exposing corruption, internal audit and regular assessment of the effectiveness of the system by the management were checked.

The ISO 37001:2016 certificate is an important condition for cooperation with foreign counterparties that require confirmation of the existence of a compliance system before starting a partnership. For Ukraine, receiving it has another significance — the document increases the level of trust of international partners in the field of military-technical assistance and opens up additional opportunities for expanding cooperation in the field of rear support.
